Tony Steffek shared tips on Cyber Security from a Litigation Perspective at a recent Cyber Security Conference at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Here are two of the biggest tips he shared.

  1. Mark confidential documents confidential and treat them as such. Trade secrets should only be shared to people who need to know.
  2. Have an Information/Document Retention Policy. You can get in a lot of trouble for destroying things you shouldn’t. Old docs you could’ve parted with could get you in trouble in the future. And who wants to store all that history?
